Banner Engineering MSE2824 Light Curtain Emitter

The Banner Engineering MSE2824 Mini-Screen Light Curtain Emitter is the emitting half of a compact safety light curtain designed to guard machine access when paired with the MSR2824 receiver, forming a curtain that detects interruptions to stop hazardous motion. For the MSE2824, the defined area is 711 mm (28 in) and the system uses 56 beams, with a 9 m (30 ft) sensing range, and it comes in a black anodized housing with an integral quick-disconnect for straightforward installation. Key specifications include a minimum object sensitivity of 0.75 in (19.1 mm) at 9 m range, fast response times of less than 48 ms for small defined areas, down to 72 ms for larger defined areas, and robust immunity to ambient light over 10,000 lux as well as strobe-light immunity.
