Banner Engineering MSE2824Y Mini-Screen Yellow Painted Emitter is the emitter half of Banner’s MINI-SCREEN safety light curtain. It pairs with the MSR2824 receiver to create a defined sensing field for guarding machinery in industrial environments. The MSE2824Y specifies a defined area of 711 mm (28 in) and a sensing range of 9 m (30 ft), with a yellow-painted housing to visually identify it as a safety component and aid alignment with the corresponding receiver. In MINI-SCREEN systems, the emitter works with a matching receiver (MSR2824) and a control module to monitor access points on equipment such as presses, conveyors, and automated lines, delivering beam interruption when the protected zone is breached. The MINI-SCREEN family includes yellow-painted emitters across a range of defined areas from 114 mm (4.5") up to 1016 mm (40"), and the MSE2824Y represents the 28-inch configuration in this lineup.
