Banner Engineering MSR3224 Mini-Screen Safety Light Curtain Receiver

Banner Engineering's MSR3224 Mini-Screen Safety Light Curtain Receiver is the receiver half of the compact MINI-SCREEN guarding pair, designed to work with the MSE3224 emitter to create a 32-inch defined area of protection around machinery. The 64-beam receiver fits small- to mid-sized guards and supports emitter/receiver spacing from 6 inches (15 cm) up to 9 m (30 ft) with standard sensors; optional long-range sensors extend reach to 18 m (60 ft). The MSR3224 defines a 813 mm (32") guarded area and features a minimum object sensitivity of 25.4 mm (1.00") with 18 m range sensors and floating blanking OFF, or 50.8 mm (2.00") with floating blanking ON. The response time for this area is under 60 ms, with a self-checking interval of 20 ms to verify operation. The unit has a black anodized housing and offers ambient light immunity greater than 10,000 lux and standard strobe-light immunity, making it robust in demanding industrial lighting environments. As part of Banner's MINI-SCREEN system, it is designed to be used with Banner controllers for trip or latch safety outputs and can guard machinery like presses, conveyors, and packaging lines by creating a safe optical barrier that shuts down hazards when interrupted.
