Banner Engineering MUSC-1 Multi-Screen Control Box

The MUSC-1 Multi-Screen Control Box is the central controller in Banner Engineering's Multi-Screen light-screen safety system, coordinating two sensor pairs (two emitters and two receivers) to guard two defined areas on the same machine. It accepts power from 115 or 230 VAC or 24 VDC and provides two normally open safety outputs with forced-guided contacts plus two normally closed non-safety auxiliary outputs. The controller uses a microprocessor-based diverse redundancy architecture with two processors that continuously monitor all components for high reliability. It supports programmable floating blanking (one- or two-beam) with separate programming for each light screen, enabling safe passage for moving parts and flexible set-ups. It is designed to work with Banner MACHINE-GUARD emitters/receivers and standard or heavy-duty MINI-SCREEN sensors, completing a five-piece Multi-Screen System that includes two emitters, two receivers, and the control box.
