Description:

OPBA2QDH Omni-Beam Power Block is the AC-powered power module for Banner Engineering's OMNI-BEAM modular photoelectric sensors, designed to be powered from 105–130 V AC and to supply the attached sensor heads with a robust, solid-state switching path. The unit uses a SPST output built from a silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) plus bridge rectifier, enabling a controlled on/off load connection across 11–250 V AC with a maximum load current of 0.5 A and an inrush current up to 7 A, with wiring options available for both 3-wire and 4-wire configurations. The QDH designation indicates an integral eurofast quick-disconnect (QD) connector, providing a field-friendly connection method for Banner's QD cables, without requiring soldering or tool-heavy terminations. In typical OMNI-BEAM installations, the OPBA2QDH power block sits between the main supply and the sensor heads, delivering the appropriate AC supply and enabling the sensor outputs to switch the load as part of the sensing logic, with compatibility to other OMNI-BEAM power blocks and sensor heads in the family.
