Banner Engineering's Sonic OMNI-BEAM OSBUSR scanning head is a proximity-mode photoelectric sensor head designed to form a complete sensing solution when paired with a Banner power-block system. When used with the OPBA5QD power block (form "C" SPDT relay, 105–130 VAC) and the MBCC-512 interconnect cable, the OSBUSR provides a relay-output interface for control circuits on automation lines. Note that OPBA5QD is listed as obsolete by Banner, reflecting its status in the current product lineup; this modular arrangement enables non-contact object detection on conveyors and other automated equipment.
