Banner Engineering OPBB2 Photoelectric Power Block

OPBB2 Omni-Beam Photoelectric Power Block is the AC power module for Banner Engineering's OMNI-BEAM modular photoelectric sensors, supplying 210 to 250 VAC to the sensor head and defining the sensor's output-switch configuration for proper operation within the OMNI-BEAM system. The family offers two cabling options: the OPBB2 with a prewired 210–250 VAC lead and the OPBB2QD, which adds an integral minifast quick-disconnect for faster field wiring and easier installation. Designed for machine guarding applications, these power blocks are intended to meet OSHA and ANSI machine-safety standards for point-of-operation guarding devices when used as specified, but they must not be used as sensing devices for personnel protection. As a core component of Banner's OMNI-BEAM lineup, the OPBB2 ensures a reliable, field-installable power interface between the AC supply and the sensor head, helping simplify wiring and maintain consistent performance in industrial automation environments.
