OTBA5 is Banner Engineering’s momentary-action optical touch button in the OPTO-TOUCH OTB series, designed for non-contact actuation in industrial control circuits. Configured for 120 V AC input (105–130 V AC supply range) and a Form C (SPDT) electromechanical relay output, it provides straightforward control wiring. A 2 m (6.5 ft) integral cable connects to standard controllers, while a 5-pin wiring interface supports the signal and power connections. The unit uses a thermoplastic polysulfone upper housing with a base-mount/saddle style and a rugged IP66 enclosure, meeting NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 12, and 13 ratings. Sensing is single-point optical, offering touch-free actuation with no moving parts. The OTBA5 is compatible with the OTC-1-BK black field cover accessory to guard activation, reinforcing reliability in dirty or high-traffic environments. This configuration delivers a robust actuator suitable for machine control, safety interlocks, and industrial automation tasks where durable, non-contact input is required.
