The Banner OTBA5QD Optical Touch Button Sensor is a momentary-action touch switch in Banner’s OPTO-TOUCH OTB Series designed to replace mechanical pushbuttons in industrial control panels. It operates from 120 V AC input and provides a SPDT electromechanical relay output for simple control of loads, with a compact, durable upper housing made of polysulfone and a black field cover. The unit uses a mini-style integral five-pin quick-disconnect (QD) connection for easy wiring, aligning with Banner’s OT B optical touch family. As a touch-activated device, actuation occurs when a user touches the field, delivering a defined momentary contact suitable for panel interfaces, conveyors, machine controls, and other automation points where direct mechanical actuation is undesirable.
