Banner Engineering OTBVN6 Photoelectric Sensor

Banner Engineering OTBVN6 is a zero‑force optical touch button in the OTB Series that replaces mechanical pushbuttons with a touch‑activated, momentary‑action input for control panels and automation equipment. It provides NPN (sinking) outputs when powered by 10–30 V DC. Cable length options include a 6 ft attached cable (about 1.8 m); 2 m versions are also available, and longer runs such as 9 m can be requested via the W/30 suffix. The device measures roughly 80 mm in height and 68 mm in length, and its enclosure is rated IP66 for rugged environments; operating temperature ranges from −20 to +50 °C. The OTBVN6 is designed to be used as a touch input with a black cover (yellow covers exist on other OTB models). Common applications include replacing traditional pushbuttons on machinery such as conveyors and packaging lines, providing a contactless input with NPN sinking outputs.
