Banner Engineering's PBR1X326U is a compact, rectangular diffuse-reflective fiber-optic sensor head that uses a 2 m plastic fiber bundle with a core diameter of 32 x 0.25 mm and an aluminum sensing end, all housed in a polyethylene jacket for rugged industrial use. This in-line fiber arrangement delivers diffuse sensing with an array fiber, enabling detection by reflected light at ranges greater than 1 m and up to 3 m when paired with compatible amplifiers (DF-G3). The fiber optic unit is sold as a single head, designed for easy mounting in tight spaces, and features an inline beam exit for installation flexibility.
