Banner Engineering PBT2 Multi-Beam Power Block

The Banner Engineering PBT2 is a MULTI-BEAM 3- and 4-Wire DC Power Block designed to power Banner MULTI-BEAM emitter and receiver blocks while providing two open-collector NPN outputs for downstream logic. It accepts 10–30 V DC input and offers two open-collector NPN transistor outputs to interface with Banner CL-series MAXI-AMP logic modules; these outputs can be wired directly to the MAXI-AMP inputs. The unit includes a wiring chamber for organized terminations of power, signal, and ground. As part of the MULTI-BEAM family, the PBT2 supports 3- and 4-wire configurations and the device’s overall behavior is tied to the connected sensor and logic components, with the sensor range varying by model. The MULTI-BEAM family includes emitter models such as SBE, SBED, SBEX, SBEV, SBEXD, and SBEF, and the PBT2 is intended to work with these components to form complete sensing systems.
