Banner Engineering PBT46UC (26086) is a 2-meter retractable plastic fiber optic cable assembly designed for inline use with Banner plastic fiber optic sensors. It features a 1 mm core fiber with a polyethylene jacket and a nickel-plated brass sensing end terminated in an M6 thread, with a free-cut termination to permit field trimming and a 25 mm minimum bend radius for reliable operation. The fiber is rated for a maximum ambient temperature of 70 C and is intended for diffuse-reflective sensing configurations, with an inline beam exit and no integrated lens. The assembly is designed to be cut to length with Banner’s PFC-1 cutting device, enabling custom lengths for specific installations. It is compatible with Banner plastic fiber optic sensors across families such as D12, OMNI-BEAM, MAXI-BEAM, VALU-BEAM, Q45, Q19, PC44, MINI-BEAM, and ECONO-BEAM. This model is supplied as a single 2 m fiber and is categorized as a plastic fiber optic cable rather than a standalone sensor, serving as the flexible link between a sensor and its readout or controller in diffuse/reflective applications.
