Banner Engineering PD45VP6C200Q Convergent Laser Sensor
Banner Engineering PD45VP6C200Q Convergent Laser Sensor
Description:
Banner Engineering's PicoDot PD45VP6C200Q is a compact convergent-laser photoelectric sensor designed for precise part detection at a fixed focal point of 203 mm. Operating from 10–30 V DC with a complementary PNP output, it uses a 5-pin M12 pigtail quick-disconnect and a 150 mm (6 in) cable, in a rectangular thermoplastic housing rated IP54 and suitable for NEMA 4X environments. The sensor emits a visible red laser at 650 nm (Class 2) and is optimized for convergent sensing with a maximum detectable distance of 203 mm; it features a fast 0.2 ms response time and a power-up delay of 1000 ms. It supports light/dark operate and has an operating temperature range of -10 to 45 °C. Note that this PD45VP6C200Q model is listed as obsolete by Banner, and it sits within the PicoDot family known for compact, lightweight sensors with high-precision convergent beams suitable for applications such as detecting tiny parts or sensing end-effectors on robotic systems where a focused sensing spot improves reliability.
