Banner Engineering's PIP46U Plastic Fiber Probe is an inline plastic fiber optic probe designed for opposed-mode sensing, featuring a 1 mm core plastic fiber and a 2 m fiber length. The sensing end is a bendable-probe tip made of stainless steel, with the fiber jacketed in polyethylene and terminated for free cutting. This assembly is an individual probe, allowing you to trim the fiber to your installation, and the beam exits inline for straightforward integration with Banner plastic fiber optic sensor systems. The PIP46U is designed for use with Banner plastic fiber optic sensors, and its fiber length can influence sensing range when used with compatible amplifiers.
