Banner Engineering PN-94849 Laser Diffuse Time-Of-Flight Sensor
Description:
Banner Engineering's LTF12IC2LDQ is a long-range Laser Diffuse Time-of-Flight sensor in the LTF series, designed for precise distance sensing across large gaps. It covers 50 to 12,000 mm detection range with a visible red laser beam, ideal for industrial setups requiring non-contact measurement in challenging environments. The unit operates on 12–30 V DC and provides an analog 4–20 mA output for continuous distance signals, plus a configurable discrete NPN/PNP output via an integral quick-disconnect M12 connection (5 pins). Encased in a zinc alloy die-cast housing, it carries IP67 and NEMA 4X protection for moisture, dust, and washdown conditions. Sensing mode is Time of Flight, delivering fast response with remote teach and push-button adjustments for field setup. The device is Class 2 laser with an operating temperature range of -20 to 55 °C. Its combination of long-range TOF performance, rugged enclosure, and dual output options makes it suitable for applications such as palletizing, packaging lines, and automated positioning where precise, non-contact measurement is essential. The 50 mm minimum sensing distance and broad 12 m maximum range enable reliable detection of target features across varying process geometries, while the integral QD and M12 plug enable straightforward installation in standard control panels and automation frames.
