Banner Engineering PT200 Photoelectric Sensor
Banner Engineering PT200 Photoelectric Sensor
Description:
The Banner Engineering PT200 Photoelectric Sensor is a compact presence-detection device from Banner's LR200/PT200 family. It detects the presence or absence of an object by emitting a light signal and sensing interruption, making it suitable for inline part detection on conveyors, packaging lines, and automation cells that rely on Banner components. The PT200 operates from 10 to 30 V DC and draws less than 20 mA, allowing easy integration with standard industrial controllers. It is designed to be used with Banner amplifier modules, and, per the family specifications, only one pair of LR/PT200 sensors may be connected to a single amplifier. For installation flexibility, the maximum sensor lead length is 50 feet (15 meters). The device features a rapid response time of 1 millisecond, enabling quick detection of moving or spaced parts. This model is part of Banner's legacy sensor family and is typically selected when a simple, low-power optical presence sensor is required within systems already using the LR200/PT200 ecosystem.
