Banner Engineering Q20NRQ Photoelectric Sensor Receiver

The Banner Engineering Q20NRQ World-BEAM Series receiver is a compact, rectangular photoelectric sensor that serves as the opposed-mode receiver in Banner’s Q20 system. It accepts a 10–30 V DC supply and provides a complementary solid-state NPN output suitable for sinking loads in automation circuits, with a sensing distance up to 12 m (12,000 mm). The 150 mm (6 in) M8 quick‑disconnect pigtail simplifies installation, while the thermoplastic housing carries IP67 and NEMA 4X ratings for rugged industrial environments. The unit detects a 655 nm visible red beam and operates in light/dark modes, with a fast response time of 1 ms ON and 0.6 ms OFF and a 100 ms power-up delay. It uses a 4‑pin discrete I/O configuration, with LEDs to indicate status, and a lens made from acrylic. The Q20NRQ operates over a temperature range of -20 to 60 C and up to 95% relative humidity at 50 C.
