Q23SN6R 46433 is Banner Engineering's compact receiver in the Q23 miniature photoelectric sensor family. In opposed-mode configurations with a separate emitter, it detects a visible red beam at 680 nm up to 8 m (26 ft) and is powered from 10–30 V DC with a complementary NPN output. The rectangular thermoplastic housing protects the internal electronics and carries IP67 protection (NEMA 4X), with an acrylic lens designed for rugged industrial use. A 4-pin connection supports straightforward wiring, and an adjustable potentiometer lets operators set the detection threshold. The unit includes status LEDs for quick inspection and supports light/dark operate, providing reliable detection across both illumination conditions. Performance specifications include an output response time of 1 ms, a power-up delay of 100 ms, and a repeatability of 130 µs, with an operating temperature range from −20 °C to 55 °C and up to 90% relative humidity at 50 °C.
