The Banner Engineering Q256E EZ-BEAM Q25 Series emitter provides a 20 m opposed-mode infrared beam when powered from 10–30 V DC, enabling non-contact detection across long conveyor runs or access points. It uses a 950 nm infrared LED as the sensing source and ships with a 2 m cable; a 9 m (30 ft) cable option is available on the Q256E W/30 variant. Built to withstand demanding environments, the unit carries IP69K and NEMA 4X ratings for washdown and rugged factory floors. As an emitter, it provides the beam to pair with a compatible Q25 receiver or amplifier and has no integrated output of its own. In typical installations, the emitter and receiver are placed on opposite sides of a detecting zone to form a Banner EZ-BEAM photoelectric pair for automation and safeguarding tasks.
