Q3XTBLD100-Q8 is Banner Engineering’s Q3X series laser diffuse sensor with background suppression, delivering reliable 0 to 100 mm detection using a visible red 655 nm laser. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides two discrete outputs (bipolar: 1 NPN and 1 PNP) through a 5-pin M12 integral quick disconnect for easy PLC interfacing. The rugged rectangular housing is nickel-plated with M18 mounting and is rated IP67/IP68/IP69K (NEMA 4X), making it suitable for washdown and harsh industrial environments, with an acrylic lens designed for durable operation. Additional features include remote teach, a 1,000 ms power-up delay, light/dark operate modes, and a compact, single‑unit design that integrates seamlessly into tight automation spaces.
