Banner Engineering Q3XTBLD200-Q8 Laser Contrast Sensor

The Banner Engineering Q3XTBLD200-Q8 is a Q3X Series laser contrast sensor designed for reliable diffuse detection of low-contrast targets, with a 0 to 200 mm sensing range, a 280 mm background suppression distance, and a Diffuse/Background Suppression sensing mode that uses a visible red laser (Class 2). Powered by 10 to 30 V DC, it provides bipolar outputs (1 NPN, 1 PNP) via a 5-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect and supports a 5-pin M12 connection. The housing is rectangular with a nickel-plated body and M18 mount, and it carries IP67, IP68, IP69K and NEMA 4X ratings for rugged, washdown-ready operation in harsh industrial environments. Typical applications include detecting subtle labels and low-contrast parts on packaging, material handling, and assembly lines where precise go/no-go decisions are critical.
