Banner Engineering Q452E is the emitter half of the Q45 through-beam photoelectric sensor pair, designed for rugged industrial use. It operates from 90–250 V AC and ships with an attached cable—the standard version includes a 2 m (6.5 ft) lead, while variants like Q452E-W-30 offer a 9 m (30 ft) cable—allowing long-distance alignment with a complementary receiver. The emitter supports a nominal sensing range up to 60 m when paired with a Q45VR2 receiver in a through-beam configuration, and it features a Lexan dome on top for durability in harsh environments. Use it together with the Q45VR2 receiver to detect interruptions in a projected light beam across open space, enabling reliable long-range object presence sensing in automation lines.
