The Banner Engineering Q45AD9DQ is a NAMUR-series diffuse-mode photoelectric sensor in a rugged rectangular thermoplastic housing designed for intrinsically safe applications and harsh industrial environments. It detects targets up to 300 mm away with an infrared LED sensing beam and delivers a NAMUR output through a 4-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect, powered from a 5–15 V DC supply—supporting light/dark operate for flexible sensing. Built for rugged service, the sensor carries IP67 ingress protection and NEMA 4X ratings, operates from -40 C to 70 C, and tolerates up to 90% relative humidity at 50 C, making it well-suited to dusty or humid production floors.
