Banner Engineering Q45AD9LPQ Photoelectric Sensor

Banner Engineering Q45AD9LPQ is a polarized retroreflective photoelectric sensor with a 6 m sensing range and a 5–15 VDC supply, packaged for rugged industrial use and featuring a 4-pin M12 quick-disconnect (QD) connector for easy wiring. It emits a 680 nm red light and delivers NAMUR current-output signaling, with a dark current around 1.2 mA and a light current around 2.1 mA when a reflective plate or other retroreflective target is detected. Built to withstand harsh environments, the Q45AD9LPQ carries IP67 and NEMA 6P protection and operates from -40°C to 70°C, with sensitivity adjustable via a small potentiometer to accommodate varying reflectivity and target sizes. As part of Banner’s Q45 NAMUR family, this polarized retroreflective sensor is compatible with standard retroreflective reflectors and Banner reflector plates, making it suitable for end-of-line detection, conveyor and packaging-line applications where a compact, DC-powered, 4-pin M12 sensor is required.
