The Banner Engineering Q45BB6D Photoelectric Sensor is a rugged rectangular diffuse-mode sensor in the Q45 Series, engineered for harsh industrial environments and protected to IP67 with a NEMA 4X enclosure. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides two discrete outputs—a bipolar pair (1 NPN and 1 PNP)—via a 4‑pin, 2 m cable, enabling quick wiring and reliable signaling. The infrared LED emitter supports a diffuse sensing range of up to 450 mm, with Light/Dark operation and a fast 2 ms response time, ideal for fast cycling or compact installations. Built around a thermoplastic housing that tolerates -40 to 70 C, the Q45BB6D is designed for DC power and solid-state outputs, and 4-wire connectivity to Banner amplifiers and other Q45 accessories to form a complete sensing system in industrial automation.
