Banner Engineering Q45BB6F Fiber Optic Sensor

Banner Engineering Q45BB6F is a rugged fiber-optic amplifier in the Q45 Series, designed to drive glass-fiber sensors for reliable presence/absence detection in harsh industrial environments. Powered from 10–30 V DC, it provides a bipolar output (one NPN and one PNP) over a 2 m cable, with a glass-fiber termination and a thermoplastic rectangular enclosure rated IP67 and NEMA 4X. The sensor features infrared illumination, a minimum response time of 2 ms, and 500 µs repeatability, with operating temperatures from -40 to 70 C and up to 90% RH at 50 C, plus a 100 ms power-up delay. Range depends on the selected fiber, and it includes potentiometer adjustments with no remote teach and no washdown rating.
