The Banner Engineering Q45BW22FQ24 Photoelectric Sensor is a rugged, self-contained rectangular sensor in Banner’s Q45 BW22 family, engineered for harsh washdown environments and 90-250 VAC operation. It provides a protected solid-state relay output rated up to 300 mA at 250 VAC, enabling reliable control of small to mid-size loads on conveyors, packaging lines, and automation equipment. The Q45BW22 family supports multiple sensing modes—opposed, diffuse, retroreflective, and convergent—with options in glass or plastic fiber optic variants, and offers selectable light/dark operation to suit diverse processes. It features highly visible Power, Signal (AID System), and Output LEDs, and can be extended with plug-in modules for output timing logic and/or signal-strength display. Depending on the configuration, you can choose prewired cable lengths of 2 m (6.5 ft) or 9 m (30 ft) unterminated, and either Mini-style or Micro-style quick-disconnect fittings for fast field changes. The sensor is designed to withstand demanding washdown conditions, rated for up to 1200 psi and meeting IP67/NEMA 6P sealing, with Banner cautioning that it is not intended for personnel protection.
