Description:

The Banner Engineering Q45VR2FQ 37005 is a glass‑fiber infrared photoelectric sensor amplifier in the Q45VR2 series, engineered for rugged industrial sensing with fiber‑optic options. This model supports glass fiber optic sensing and offers multiple sensing modes (opposed, diffuse, retroreflective, convergent) and is compatible with glass and plastic fiber accessories; it requires 90–250 V AC power and provides an SPDT electromechanical relay output. The unit uses a 5‑pin mini integral quick disconnect connector and can be ordered with prewired cables of 2 m (6.5 ft) or 9 m (30 ft) or with a 7/8 in‑16UNF quick‑disconnect fitting. Front indicators show Power, Signal, and Output, and the device includes a potentiometer for adjustments, with a delay at power‑up of 100 ms and a minimum response time of 15 ms. The Q45VR2FQ is built with a thermoplastic housing and is rated IP67 for washdown environments, designed to withstand up to 1200 psi washdown. Its compact footprint measures roughly 44.5 mm long, 60.5 mm wide, and 87.6 mm high, and it weighs about 253 g, with operating temperature from -40 to +70 C and humidity tolerance up to 90% at 50 C. Range depends on fiber used. Common applications include sensing on conveyors and automated lines where fiber optics reach challenging or inaccessible locations.
