The Banner Engineering Q45VR2FQ is a rugged glass-fiber optic amplifier in the Q45VR2 family, designed to translate Banner's glass-fiber sensor signals into a reliable SPDT electromechanical relay output. It accepts 90–250 VAC input and can switch a load up to 5 A, with a 2 m glass-fiber link and a 5-pin mini QD termination for quick integration. Sensing range depends on the chosen fiber: opposed-range up to 54 in. (1.4 m) using two IT23S fibers, or diffuse-range up to 4 in. (10 cm) with BT23S fiber. The unit uses an 880 nm infrared LED for fiber illumination, aligning with Banner's glass-fiber optics in industrial automation setups.
