Q45VR2LP is Banner Engineering’s rugged Q45 series photoelectric sensor with an AC input and an integrated SPDT electro-mechanical relay output. The cabled LP version provides a 2 m (6.5 ft) five-wire lead and operates on 90–250 VAC, making it compatible with standard industrial power and control circuits. It uses polarized retroreflective optics with a visible red beam (680 nm) and detects targets across a range of 0.15–6 m (approximately 6 in to 20 ft). The enclosure carries IP67 protection and NEMA 4X compliance, enabling reliable performance in dusty or washdown environments. With the relay output, the sensor can directly drive external devices or PLC inputs on automation lines, conveyors, and packaging equipment, eliminating the need for additional interface hardware.
