The Banner Q85VR3LP Polarized Retroreflective Photoelectric Sensor detects targets from 80 mm to 4.6 m when used with the BRT-3 3" reflector, using a polarized 680 nm red beam to minimize false reflections. It uses a 5‑pin rectangular thermoplastic housing with a terminal connection and a SPDT electromechanical relay (E/M) output, powered by a universal supply of 12–240 V DC or 24–240 V AC with a maximum power draw of 2 W. The unit is rugged with IP67/NEMA-6P rated housing, operates from −25 to 55 C, and tolerates up to 90% relative humidity at 50 C; it features a potentiometer adjustment and LEDs to indicate output status and light sensed. Output switching supports up to 90 W resistive or 750 VA, at up to 250 V AC or 30 V DC.
