Banner Engineering QM42VP6AFV150 Proximity Sensor

The Banner Engineering QM42VP6AFV150 is an adjustable-field proximity sensor in a compact QM42 rectangular housing that detects targets within a 5–150 mm range. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides an SPDT (complementary) PNP output through a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable configuration. Built for industrial use, the sensor carries an IP67 rating, a -20 to 55 C operating range, a zinc-alloy die-cast housing, and a 680 nm visible red sensing beam with an acrylic lens. Adjustments are made with a potentiometer and status is shown by integrated LEDs; it also features adjustable background suppression to minimize false detects, plus a 100 ms power-up delay and 250 µs repeatability. This QM42 family device is designed for proximity sensing in automation and machinery, including part detection on conveyors and general presence sensing on automated equipment.
