Banner Engineering QM42VP6DQ Photoelectric Sensor

QM42VP6DQ is a diffuse-mode photoelectric sensor with a 400 mm sensing range from Banner Engineering’s QM42/QMT42 Series, housed in a rugged rectangular zinc-alloy die-cast enclosure for easy mounting. It detects targets with an infrared beam at 880 nm and provides a SPDT (complementary) PNP output via a 4-pin M12 integral quick disconnect, powered from 10–30 V dc. The device supports light/dark operate, has a potentiometer-adjusted sensing setting and LED indicators, and delivers a 1 ms response time with 250 µs repeatability and a 100 ms power-up delay; it is rated IP67 and NEMA 4X, and operates from -20 to 70 C. Acrylic lens and the self-contained rectangular housing make it suitable for diffuse sensing in compact automation panels and conveyor applications.
