The Banner Engineering QMT42VP6FF500Q is a fixed-field, easy-mount rectangular photoelectric sensor with a 500 mm sensing range, part of Banner’s QM42/QMT42 series. It operates from 10–30 V DC and delivers an SPDT (Complementary) PNP output through a 4-pin M12 integral quick disconnect. Encased in a zinc alloy die-cast housing with an acrylic lens, it carries an IP67 enclosure rating and NEMA 4X protection for washdown environments. The sensor uses an 880 nm infrared beam, supports background suppression (Fixed), and offers light/dark operate with a fast 1 ms output response and a 100 ms power-up delay. It tolerates -20 to 55 C and up to 90% relative humidity at 50 C.
