QS18VN6FF100Q7 is Banner Engineering’s World-BEAM QS18 All-Purpose Photoelectric Sensor with fixed-field detection and a 100 mm sensing range. Operates on 10-30 V DC with a discrete NPN output wired through an integral M8 quick-disconnect (4-pin) connector. The compact rectangular housing, sized for M18 mounting, is ABS-bodied and rated IP67/NEMA 4X for dusty, wet environments. The sensor uses a 630 nm visible red LED for a small spot and supports Light/Dark operate in a background-suppression (Fixed) mode, enabling reliable object detection against varying backgrounds. Response time is 0.85 ms with 160 µs repeatability, and it tolerates -20 to 70 C and up to 95% relative humidity at 50 C. The unit’s fixed-field configuration means the sensing field is consistently 100 mm from the face, making it well-suited for position sensing on conveyors, packaging lines, and automation tasks where a short-range, no-adjustment sensor is desirable.
