Banner Engineering's World-BEAM QS18VP6LAF is a laser-based, background-suppressed photoelectric sensor in the QS18 Series designed for reliable presence sensing on automation lines. The VP6LAF variant uses a red laser (approximately 650 nm) for detecting small parts against challenging backgrounds, with adjustable-field background suppression to minimize false detections from surrounding surfaces. It provides a PNP output with Dark-ON or Light-ON configuration to suit different control logic, and operates from 10 to 30 V DC.
