Banner Engineering QS18VP6LLPQ Photoelectric Sensor

QS18VP6LLPQ is Banner Engineering’s QS18 Series All Purpose Photoelectric Sensor designed for polarized retroreflective detection. The compact 18 mm-wide, rectangular sensor houses a 650 nm visible red Class 1 laser and ships with a reflector for reliable retroreflective sensing. It operates on 10–30 V DC with a current draw up to 100 mA and provides a PNP output that can be configured as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC). Detection ranges span 0.1 to 10 m (100–10,000 mm) with a beam diameter of about 4 mm at 10 m, making it well-suited for small, reflective targets on conveyors and automation cells. Key protections include reverse polarity and short-circuit protection, and the sensor supports multiple wiring options, including integral M12 quick-disconnect connectors or pre-wired cables. Reflector is included in delivery, simplifying setup for fixed-position retroreflective applications.
