Banner Engineering QS30EDV Photoelectric Sensor

QS30EDV Expert Diffuse-Mode Visible Red Beam is Banner Engineering’s World-Beam long-range diffuse-mode photoelectric sensor. It operates from 10-30 V DC and provides bipolar outputs (NPN/PNP) with a 2 m cable. In normal mode it detects up to 1400 mm, or 1100 mm in high-speed mode, with a visible red beam to ease alignment. The rectangular thermoplastic housing offers M30 front mounting and carries IP67 and NEMA 6 ratings for washdown environments. Advanced configuration includes TEACH and remote setup options, along with Dynamic TEACH and Adaptive Thresholds that continuously center the sensing threshold as lighting conditions change. Designed for low-contrast sensing, the QS30EDV delivers reliable long-range detection without external reflectors in many industrial applications.
