The Banner Engineering QS30EDVQ is a World‑Beam QS30 Expert Diffuse‑Mode sensor that uses a visible red beam (660 nm) for reliable diffuse detection, offering up to 1,100 mm in High‑Speed mode and up to 1,400 mm in Normal mode. Operating from 10–30 V DC, it provides bipolar discrete outputs (NPN/PNP) through an integral 5‑pin M12 quick disconnect, in a compact rectangular thermoplastic housing with a 30 mm barrel for easy mounting. With remote TEACH capability, a 250 ms power‑up delay, and 100–150 μs repeatability, the device supports light/dark operate logic and is rated IP67 (NEMA 4X) for harsh industrial environments and operating temperatures from −10 to 55 °C. This QS30EDVQ combines Banner’s long‑range diffuse sensing with a rugged form factor, making it a precise, non‑contact presence detector within the World‑Beam family.
