The Banner Engineering QS30LLPQ is a World-BEAM QS30 long-range polarized retroreflective sensor designed to detect targets across substantial distances with a 650 nm visible red laser, optimized for reliability in industrial environments and reduced interference from ambient light. Housed in a rectangular M30-style enclosure with a 30 mm barrel and a thermoplastic body, it is IP67-rated for dust and water exposure, supports a 10–30 V DC supply, and uses a 5-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect for rugged, field-installable wiring. It provides bipolar outputs (one NPN, one PNP), offers remote teach to simplify alignment, and achieves a fast 0.5 ms response time, making it suitable for high-speed conveyors, packaging lines, and automated robotics.
