The Banner Engineering S18-2VPFF200-Q8 is an 18 mm barrel photoelectric sensor in the S18-2 fixed-field family with a 200 mm sensing range. It operates from 10–30 V DC and provides complementary PNP outputs through a 4-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect, with IP67 protection and NEMA 4X compatibility for rugged industrial environments. The unit uses a visible red sensing beam at 624 nm and employs background suppression in fixed-field operation to improve detection against backgrounds. Encased in a thermoplastic housing, the sensor measures 18 mm in diameter and is rated for operation from -40°C to 70°C, featuring a 100 ms power-up delay, a 2 ms output response time, and 100 µs repeatability.
