The Banner Engineering S18AW3DQ1 is an 18 mm, epoxy-encapsulated barrel-mount diffuse photoelectric sensor in the S18 series. It is powered from 20 to 250 VAC and delivers a SPST solid-state AC-switch output wired through a 4-pin Micro Integral quick-disconnect, with an infrared sensing beam for diffuse sensing up to 100 mm. The thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens is rated IP67 and IP69K (NEMA 6P), making it suitable for washdown environments; the operating temperature range is -40 to 70 C. Key performance figures include a 16 ms response time, 100 ms power-up delay, and 4000 µs repeatability.
