Banner Engineering S18SN6DQ is an epoxy-encapsulated, 18 mm diameter barrel-mount photoelectric sensor in the S18 series that operates in diffuse mode with a 100 mm sensing range. It runs on 10–30 V DC and provides an NPN output via a 4-pin M12 quick-disconnect connector, with configurable dark-on or light-on operation. Built on Banner's EZ-BEAM optics, this diffuse sensor is commonly used for detecting small or mid-sized parts on conveyors or packaging lines where reflective targets appear within 100 mm of the sensing face.
