Banner Engineering's EZ-BEAM S18SN6L-28556 Photoelectric Sensor is an 18 mm barrel, epoxy-encapsulated retroreflective sensor that detects reflective targets up to 2 m away using a 950 nm infrared beam. It operates on a 10–30 V DC supply and provides a complementary output via a 2 m potted cable (4-conductor). The rugged housing carries IP67 and IP69K ratings and is built for harsh industrial environments with a NEMA 4X compatibility profile. Epoxy encapsulation protects the electronics from vibration and contaminants, while the compact 18 mm barrel enables mounting in tight spaces. As part of the EZ-BEAM S18 Series, the unit uses a retroreflective, non-polarized sensing mode and is designed for simple mounting on standard 18 mm barrels.
