Banner Engineering S18SN6L Retroreflective Photoelectric Sensor

The Banner Engineering S18SN6L is a compact epoxy-encapsulated barrel-mount photoelectric sensor from the EZ-BEAM S18 series that uses retroreflective sensing to detect objects up to 2 m away. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides a complementary NPN output over a 2 m, 4-conductor potted cable. The sensing beam is infrared (IR) and the unit is designed for retroreflective, non-polarized operation. The housing is thermoplastic, barrel-style, with IP67 and IP69K ratings and a NEMA 4X enclosure standard for harsh environments. This S18SN6L model is intended for integration with Banner amplifiers and automation equipment in applications such as conveyors or packaging lines where a rugged 2 m-range retroreflective sensor is required.
