Banner Engineering S18SN6LP Photoelectric Sensor

Banner Engineering's S18SN6LP is a polarized retroreflective, 18 mm diameter S18 Series photoelectric sensor with EZ-beam optics, configured as an epoxy-encapsulated barrel-mount unit for reliable detection of targets up to 2 m away. It operates on 10–30 V DC, provides an NPN LO/DO-configurable output, and ships with a 2 m pre-wired, potted cable for easy installation. The sensor is IP67 and IP69K rated (NEMA 4X), with a -40 °C to +70 °C operating range and a compact 65 mm height, making it suitable for rugged environments. Sensing uses a visible red LED at 680 nm, and the polarized retroreflective design leverages fixed-field technology to detect low-reflectivity objects while ignoring background surfaces.
