Banner Engineering S18UBAQ Ultrasonic Proximity Sensor is a straight, cylindrical unit in the S18U Series that detects objects via ultrasonic distance measurement within a 30 to 300 mm range. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides dual outputs—one PNP and one NPN—through a 5-pin M12 quick-disconnect connector for flexible interfacing to control circuits. The sensor is housed in an IP67-rated M18 cylindrical body with a straight configuration, suited for rugged industrial environments and space-constrained installations. Ultrasonic sensing is largely unaffected by color, transparency, or surface finish, enabling reliable detection of many materials on conveyors, packaging lines, and automation equipment without physical contact.
