Banner Engineering S18UIARQ Ultrasonic Sensor

Banner Engineering S18UIARQ is a right-angle U-GAGE S18U series ultrasonic sensor that measures distances from 30 to 300 mm and delivers a 4–20 mA analog output when powered from 10–30 V dc. It uses a 300 kHz ultrasonic transducer in an ABS/polycarbonate housing with an M18 barrel thread and a 5‑pin M12 integral quick disconnect, rated IP67 (NEMA 4X) for rugged environments. This Time‑of‑Flight sensor supports Push Button and Remote Teach adjustments, provides bipolar NPN/PNP discrete outputs in addition to the analog output, and offers a fast response time up to 2.5 ms with a minimum sensing distance of 30 mm and a maximum of 300 mm. Operable from −20 to 60 C, the S18UIARQ is well suited for compact installations on conveyors, packaging lines, or wet/dusty environments where reliable 30–300 mm detection and analog feedback are required.
