Banner Engineering SBAR1GHF Fiber Optic Ambient Light Receiver

The SBAR1GHF is Banner Engineering's Multi-Beam Glass Fiber Optic Ambient Light Receiver, a self-contained ambient light sensor block that attaches to a glass fiber optic assembly via the upper cover UC-RF. It features a high‑gain amplifier and a 10 ms on/off response, with a spectral response from visible blue through near infrared and a note that glass fibers do not efficiently pass ultraviolet light. Range is determined by the light source intensity and fiber arrangement, and typical applications include sensing product presence or counting during red-hot or molten glass or metal processing, as well as ambient daylight sensing when integrated with MULTI-BEAM blocks and logic modules. Model SBAR1GHF is identical to SBAR1GH except that it includes the upper cover for attaching an individual glass fiber optic assembly, and it is CE/UKCA documented for Multi-Beam.
